Model investments

In 2001, we invested in the tile manufacturer. As part of the investment, the fund procured a successful implementation of a unique ceramic tile production technology used only by a few manufacturers in the world. Products offered by the company are "higher shelf" products among ceramic tiles available in Poland. Currently, the firm is being introduced to public trading.



Hydrobudowa Gdańsk S.A., Constructions

Investment completed in 2001. The company was sold to a Scandinavian strategic investor NCC. The key business of the company included hydro-technical construction (inland and sea), and specialised work in the field of construction of deep foundations, as well as engineering work in the area of environmental protection. The company is one of the leading Polish companies in water construction sector.



Pro-Futuro S.A., Telecommunication

In 2000, we made a start-up investment in Pro-Futuro, the operator of its own broadband telephone and IT network. The company offers fast and permanent Internet access, data transmission services (with increased security parameters), VOIP services, and advanced hosting services. The extensive network covers the largest cities in Poland, including Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław, Poznań and Szczecin. The clients of the firm are mainly corporations. Currently, Pro-Futuro is the leader in its market sector.



Viscoplast S.A., Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry

Viscoplast is a leading firm in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry in Poland. Viscoplast manufactures self-adhesive wounding bands and technical bands. Its production standards were appreciated by 3M which decided to acquire the firm and transfer the production from Germany to Wrocław where the company has its registered office and production facilities.



Wrozamet S.A., Household Appliances

Wrozamet is an example of a deep technical restructuring. Currently, the company is one of the leading Polish manufacturers of household appliances. One of the key marketing steps planned and implemented successfully by Wrozamet was to introduce and promote a single brand for its full product line. The investment ended with the sale of the company to a Spanish manufacturer of household appliances, i.e., Fagor.



Anica System S.A., IT systems

In 1999, we invested in Anica System. This investment is implemented in co-operation with key management personnel. The firm offers advanced IT services for corporate clients and institutions and is one of the recognised Polish IT companies specialising in "business integration" projects. The company services three sectors, i.e., financial, industrial and public sectors. Anica System also works for major companies in the FMCG sector, such as Unilever, Nestle, Ferrero, and Danone.



KuĽnia Jawor, Forging Industry

The investment consisted in the total change of the plant's production profile from agricultural machines into production of top quality die forgings used in petrochemical, chemical and gas industries, among others the company's products are used to connect pipes and in the production or machines and devices. Recently, the firm has entered the automotive market (the company's products are used in such cars as Opel (Vauxhall), Mercedes, or Volkswagen).
